DESIGN AND BUILT BIOSAFETY LABORATORY LEVEL 3 FOR MAKMAL KESIHATAN AWAM KEBANGSAAN IN SUNGAI BULOH KUALA LUMPUR

The project is
the first of its
kind being designed
by Perunding Syed
& Shahriah Sdn. Bhd. in
Malaysia to the latest and most stringent Standard in the world
Australian/New Zealand Standard 2243.3.2002.
It has been
tested and certified
by an independent body namely NATA (National
Association of Testing Authorities, Australia
It has been certified by an independent an approved
laboratory certifier by Minister of Health, Switzerland
and Singapore
The BSL3 complex is an intelligent facility which
comprises of offices, seminar Room, general labs, BSL2 labs and two BSL 3
Laboratories. One of the BSL3 lab is enhanced with BSL4 equipments
The project took 15 months to complete and was completed and hand over
to the Client on 22nd September 2006. Value of project is RM 26.0 M
